Welcome to Guthrie's River Ruckus
Hank Williams Jr. Headlines Saturday Night
Saturday night's entertainment starts off with Granger Smith, also known as Earl Dibbles Jr., followed by Josh Thompson, Gretchen Wilson, and Hank Williams Jr.
Friday night will start off with the winner of the Ruckus Rumbles, followed by Casey Donahew Band, Chris Cagle, and Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy.
Guthrie's River Ruckus is an outdoor concert held annually. It has turned into a two night ordeal since 2011. It features a range of music from local talent to big names like Eric Church. Eric was the headliner for last year's River Ruckus, which also included Chris Cagle, Frankie Ballard, and Chad Elliot. Friday night featured Mint Band opening for The Rumbles. Check out all the changes we are making this year to provide everyone with a more enjoyable experience.
Go ahead and browse the site to find information on everything we can share about next year's GRR, including where to get your tickets, how to get to the concert, photos from previous years, and camping opportunities.
Map of the Grounds
Map Explanations
Along with our many changes for the event, we have tried to make life easier for all the fans by providing this map detailing how best to navigate the grounds.
The only entrance for parking will be on the east side from Highway 25 - campers, however, will continue to use the west entrance off of Maple Avenue. The northwest corner of the parking area will be for handicapped persons. There will be a shuttle running from handicapped parking to the gate entrance.
There will be food vendors located north of the campgrounds, sectioned as the "Food Court", with a wide variety of food, pop, water, and ice. North of the food court, sectioned as the "Rec Area", there will be bags tournaments, a mechanical bull, dunk tanks, and a rock climbing wall.
Just south of the food court, an informational booth will be set up in the show barn. The informational booth is the place where fans can get their ID's checked, beer tickets purchased in advance, and to get your 2 day express lane wristband, along with answering any other questions you may have. The informational booth will be open from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday. It will be beneficial to visit this booth prior to the show to get your beer faster inside the arena during the concerts. Sunday the booth will be open for "lost and found" items.
We have marked out pedestrian walkways for gate entry in green dotted lines. The orange dotted line is the separate entrance for VIP. The white rectangle is where ice cold beer will be stored in Budweiser beer trucks.
The blue lines mark out where fence will be put in for around the show and different pedestrian walkways.
Notable Changes we are making for the Ruckus
There will be more security all around the stage, gates, and infield during the shows. There will also be more security personnel patrolling the campgrounds. Our number one concern is people's safety, and we want everyone to have a good, safe experience at Guthrie's River Ruckus.
The stage for the shows will be sitting much higher, and it will be equipped with a 17' by 27' big screen so no one will miss the fun happening up on stage this year.
Cell service this year will get additional assistance from a portable cell tower.
Beer lines will be much more organized with designated lines for flow. No one will be walking up to get an ice cold beverage as someone else that just received theirs is walking back at them. All the beer trucks will be backed up to the beer shacks which will be located along the perimeter fence. With a shorter distance for beer to travel from the back of the trucks to the beer shacks, you can expect much colder beer.
Of course, there will still be plenty of food vendors inside the arena during the shows.
There will be A LOT of dumpsters and porta-potties scattered throughout the grounds.
